I was so wrong to judge a book by it's cover because Angelfall has to be one of the most well written novels I have come across in quite some time AND it does not revolve around some terrible love story. I still went in with low to no expectations but lo and behold, I was blown away.
and it wasn't until a colleague recommended it to me that I changed my mind. The world has been brought down by the angels, who are hell bent on destroying the human race because God's messenger Michael, said it to be true.įor years, I saw this book on the shelf and I always thought it would be a mediocre love story with angels and I never picked it up. Angelfall follows the story of Penryn, a teenage girl, in a time following the end of the world as we know it.
